I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Holly Armstrong, the founder of Wings 4 the Gifted, on my podcast. Holly is a true advocate for gifted children, and her inspiring journey has led her to create a company that coaches, instructs, and advocates for parents of gifted learners, including twice-exceptional learners. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Gifted Curriculum and Instruction, and a Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis on Cognition and Instruction, Holly’s expertise in the field of gifted education is truly impressive. She shares ideas that will inspire every parent!
Holly shared her personal story of working with a twice-exceptional child whose needs were unmet by traditional education systems. It was heart-wrenching to hear about the challenges that these children face and the negative impact they can have on their development.
Despite these challenges, Holly’s passion for helping gifted children inspired her to create Wings 4 the Gifted. Her company provides resources and support to parents of gifted children, including assessment tools, curriculum planning, and personalized coaching sessions. She firmly believes that every gifted child deserves to soar and fulfill their potential, and she is determined to help parents achieve that goal.
Holly’s expertise and dedication to the cause shone through in our conversation, and I was inspired by her passion for making a difference in the lives of gifted children. Her company, Wings 4 the Gifted, provides an invaluable service to parents of gifted children who want to ensure their children’s success.
