Hi all, I’m Amaan. I’m a 22-year-old graduate building in the education space. My north star is to spark the curiosity in kids and help fuel their ambitions.

By background, I’m an Engineer and I have been building tools for educators for the last year. I ran my own microschool/learning pod straight after graduating for 20 students. My main attraction to education was through a personal experience during COVID. I completely self-taught how to code and design using free resources on the internet in order to earn some money from freelance work. This access to education was a huge source of power for me during a time of financial difficulties for me and my family, and has opened up huge opportunities since. This is what education should really be. This experience really opened my eyes. I come from a traditional schooling background which never really clicked. Education is about making us feel capable and powerful. It’s meant to prepare us for the unknown future ahead. It’s meant to spark curiosity and fuel our ambitions. This is what I want to help unlock and want to support the alternative education community with.
